Frederking Construction Co., is proud that the majority of their longtime staff members have been working with them for more than a decade!  We have some employees who have been with us for over 15 years!  In 1972, when our grandfather started this business, he couldn't have foresee that three generations of the Frederking family would continue the tradition of offering the highest quality construction to the Altamont area. 

The family is proud to have continued this tradition, would like to thank you, our customers, for allowing us to

provide the highest quality construction services in the area. 

Shane Frederking

Owner

Shane Frederking is the owner of Frederking Construction Co in

Altamont, IL, and has more than 22 years of experience. 


In 1993, Shane graduated from Altamont High School and the 2-year Building Trades Program at OKAW Area Vocational Center located in Vandalia, IL. He continued his education by attending Lake Land College and graduating with a degree in the Architectural Construction Technology and in Small Business Management Programs.

Board Member of CTEC - Construction Trades Education Curriculum in Effingham County for high school students

Dave Frederking

Retired

In 1972, Dave Frederking began his construction career while working for his father, W.T. Frederking.   Several years later, Dave became the owner of the company and for more than 40 years he proudly made his construction business a thriving asset by building apartments, homes, garages, and hotels throughout the Effingham area and the surrounding counties.


Although Dave officially retired a few years ago, he still enjoys visiting the office and doing the "running around".
